Take some time each quarter to review your business progress and processes. You might find, as I have, that a fair amount can change every few months, and these changes require additional resources to maintain. If you haven’t taken the time to review your progress, plan to do so in 2005 at least once per quarter. Use this review period to decide what to keep, what to cut, and what to prune back. When you’re really busy and finding it difficult to keep up with everything, taking time to review might feel like a waste of time. However, unless you stop to survey and review, you won’t always know if you’re spending your time as profitably and enjoyably as possible. Consider the review as a time to better shape your business so it better serves your customers- and so it better serves you.
