As 2005 begins to wind down, it’s crucial to begin planning for 2006. While you are, be sure to build in some time each week (or month) for you to invest in your own learning. Select one area to focus on for the first quarter of 2006- perhaps something to do with improving your sales & marketing skills, for instance- and set up a learning plan to become an expert in this area within the first three months of 2006. Repeat for the 2nd quarter of the year, and so on. It’s good to take time to review your progress and find ways to improve on what you’re already doing. Learning new methods is one way to accomplish this. If you haven’t yet put together a plan for 2006, start today- and be sure to include some time for learning. This will lead to business (and self) improvement.
