The best way to build self confidence is to keep expanding outward. By this I mean that you keep growing your capacity to absorb new ideas, innovation, creativity into your daily life. Under stress, most of us contract- that is, we go smaller to try and weather the onslaught of stress, anxiety, fear. Unfortunately, this can serve to keep us tightly bound in the stress, anxiety, and fear that we wanted to escape from. Whenever you feel worried, upset, or like you’re "shrinking" away– ask yourself, "what can I do to expand outward?" or "how can I show that I’m bigger than this problem?" The bigger you get, the smaller your problems will be.
