One factor related to staying creative relates to the amount of time you take for yourself. In the weeks where I take more time, my creativity is higher- I produced more articles, started a couple new books, and felt really in touch with that literary, artistic side of myself. By taking time, each week, to read, think, maybe watch TV or a movie or two, to do some research and surf the internet (in reasonable amounts, of course!), I was keeping more aware of what was happening around me- and better able to keep the creativity flowing. So, what I’ve learned is the best way to get new ideas is to be open to them. If you want to create some new ideas for your business, take some time this week to be explore new ideas. Read a new magazine, or watch a new TV show, or attend a new professional association- keep letting ideas come in, so you can continue to have creativity coming out.
