Every few months or so, I get the urge to "start over" with my marketing. What this means, essentially, is that I look at all the marketing avenues I’m currently using, and ask myself these questions: 1) Am I still enjoying this marketing avenue? (Because if you don’t enjoy it, it’s not worth it) 2) Is this marketing avenue effectively bringing me enough return? (Because if you aren’t getting new business/new leads/new opportunities the avenue isn’t working) 3) Can this avenue be improved? (Because most things can be made more efficient, more cost effective or more profitable). Summer is a good time to explore your marketing avenues in this way and decide which ones you’ll keep and which ones you’ll discard. This way, you enjoy your marketing, your marketing works, and you keep your marketing fresh. How’s that for an win/win/win?
